The NASA mission OSIRIS-REx arrived on December 3 at the proximity of the asteroid Bennu. During its approach phase, the OVIRS and OTES instruments of the spacecraft have detected the presence of molecules containing O-H bonds, that reveal the presence of ancient water retained in clays at the surface of the asteroid! More details here.
